Savannah had her first day of preschool! Right before taking her, I surprised her with a new backpack. I know, what does a preschooler need with a backpack, but as you can see, the look on her face in the top picture made it all worthwhile. As soon as she got her backpack on, she was ready to go, and took off for the van. She looked so cute walking off, and seemed so grown up, until she turned around and did her signature Savannah dance. She had a great first day at school and is excited to go back, which is huge step for her!!

that's awesome! she is getting so big! lol! i love how she could probably fit into that backpack. what a great mom you are!
she is so cute! i'm looking forward to sending the three oldest to school next week. i hope they all have smiles that big.
Sweet back pack. And when she gets tierd it can double as a sleeping bag. But yes she is looking very grown up.
